At Spicein.com.au, we are committed to providing you with the highest quality Indian groceries and products. We understand that sometimes items may not meet your expectations, and we've outlined our return and refund policy below.
General Return Policy
We accept returns on eligible products within 7 days of delivery, provided the items are:
- Unopened and in their original packaging
- In resalable condition
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
No Refunds on Refrigerated and Frozen Products
Please note: We do not accept returns or offer refunds on any refrigerated or frozen products. This includes but is not limited to:
- Frozen vegetables, snacks, and ready-to-eat meals
- Refrigerated dairy products (paneer, yogurt, ghee, etc.)
- Frozen meats and seafood
- Any other temperature-sensitive items
Due to food safety regulations and the perishable nature of these items, all sales of refrigerated and frozen products are final.
Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Photos of the damaged or defective product
- A brief description of the issue
We will review your claim and, if approved, provide a replacement or full refund.
Non-Returnable Items
In addition to refrigerated and frozen products, the following items cannot be returned:
- Opened food products
- Products past their expiry date
- Items marked as final sale or clearance
How to Initiate a Return
To request a return for eligible items, please visit our contact page and provide:
- Your order number
- Reason for return
- Photos of the product (if applicable)
Our customer service team will respond with return authorization and instructions.
Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund within 5-7 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error (wrong item sent, damaged product, etc.).
